북가주 까투리 무용단은 산호세와 실리콘밸리를 중심으로 지역사회와 춤의 기쁨을 나누고 있습니다.Based in San Jose and Silicon Valley, Katuri shares the joy of dance with the Northern California community.

한국에서 북가주로From Korea to Northern California

한국의 경기여고 동창 무용단에서 출발해 2023년 초 북가주 지부를 창단했습니다. 실리콘밸리 시니어봉사회(산타클라라 한미노인봉사회) 산하에서 활동하고 있습니다.With roots in a dance group of Kyunggi Girls’ High School alumnae in Korea, the Northern California chapter was established in early 2023. It operates under the Silicon Valley Korean American Senior Service Association in Santa Clara.

김옥자 단장Director Okja Kim

서울대학교 음악대학에서 피아노를 전공하고 한국무용 1급 지도자 자격증을 취득한 김옥자 단장이 단원들과 함께 무대를 만들어 갑니다.Director Okja Kim studied piano at Seoul National University’s College of Music and earned a Level 1 Korean dance instructor certificate. She guides the members as they prepare for the stage.

함께 연습하는 시간Practicing Together

매주 화요일과 목요일에 모여 춤을 익히고, ‘무연지무’, ‘어우동’, ‘고고 장구’ 등 다양한 작품을 선보입니다.Members rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Their repertoire includes Muyeonjimu, Eoudong, and Go-Go Janggu.
